Forest Valley is conveniently located on the Cape Town side of the Knysna Lagoon, a scenic 15-minute car drive from the centre of town or Knysna’s pristine blue flag beach and 8 minutes away from the famous Knysna Lagoon.
We offer self-catering accommodation on the edge of a magnificent indigenous forest valley just outside of Knysna, with glorious views of the Outeniqua Mountains.
Our 8 fully equipped cottages provide stylish, private and comfortable accommodation and a true getaway-from-it-all experience.

We have implemented preventative housekeeping, with cottages being sanitised before and after each guest stay. The units are deep sanitised every 28 days with thermal and cold fogging, both inside and out on the decks.
We encourage a Covid-19 low impact, contactless check-in, by requesting all payments be made prior to booking in and by checking in to your cottage with a text (SMS/WhatsApp). Your cottage will be sanitised and set up beautifully for you. Daily housekeeping will be different to usual in that we will only provide it on your specific daily request. Our housekeepers are trained to sanitise and work efficiently to maintain a safe environment.
Each unit has a 70% proof alcohol spray available at the entrance - for hand sanitising and preventative cleaning - on entry to, and exit out of the cottage.
